If you edit using the Chicago Manual of Style, you might be interested in a couple of changes from edition 15 to the new edition 16 that I found that might crop up in erotica stories.

CMS no longer prefers "AM" and "PM" to be in small caps. It now specifies "a.m." and "p.m." (9.38).

Although Webster's Collegiate still prefers "Web site" (two words, with "Web" capitalized), CMS now prefers "web" and "website" ("website" as one word, not capitalized) (7.76) (The mainstream publishers I work with, though, usually go with Webster's Collegiate over the CMS when there's a disagreement.)

I like the 'website' change. Somehow this way looks right to me and always has.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I think I just avoided using a.m. or p.m. because I wasn't quite sure. This is good to know. And I think I wrote "website" because it just looked right to me. Nice to know it's now right.

Like in most things, the OED is 5 years ahead of the CMS. Soon we'll stop putting the redundant fullstop after Mr. and Mrs..
