Well, this is my first thread, so hi everyone.

Really just moved to say, why do so many people (maybe especially young men looking for cyber?) start threads with titles such as 'BORED'?

I mean, how's that going to attract anybody's attention in a positive way?

I hereby launch the Campaign for Lively Thread Titles (CLIT TIT), and offer my considerable literary and marketing expertise (for a trifling consideration) to anyone who needs help in this matter.

I always find the "meat" of the post (so to speak) more pertinent; however, I guess you have a point that the title has to grab you to get you to read further.

I reckon it's because they are bored - bored stiff, as it were, and all the blood has abandoned the imaginative centre of the brain and headed on down to the little head instead
