So Mr. Bill is getting 250,000 an hour for speeches. If he truly cared about the scourge in Africa and the common working man, he could accept 10,000 of each speech and donate 240,000 a speech to aids. 10,000 an hour is enough for even a greedy republican. Maybe he can team up with Rev Jackson can start a TV ministry since his legal defense fund can't rob widow women anymore. Or is it still active? Wouldn't surprise me.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former President Clinton says it is crucial for the United States to contribute its share to a $10 billion annual United Nations fund to fight AIDS. Writing on the opinion page of The Washington Post, Clinton said his recent travels in Africa have convinced him that ``we can prevail against this terrible scourge'' ``To shirk the responsibility is to abdicate America's timeless role as a beacon of hope and promise.'' He praised U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan for making the fight against AIDS a personal priority.

Wow, touchy subject

balls to da' wall

I thought he was accepting less...

What if all the rich libs formed a foundation, accepted blue collar wages, and put the rest into curing the world...

and finally

"Inventing the Aids Virus" Dr. Peter Duesburg (sp? sorry, library packed for move?)

It is an interesting debate on many levels.

.

WHAT? and give up their servants and armed bodyguards?

for the really rich ones who have reason to worry, we really miss Lennon, we would let them establish a trust for security, and since they are rich, of course when they give this money up, the Foundation would pay them a handsome fee besides the other trusts they have set up, which, of course, leads to even more donations,

like coasting downhill to save gas...

That sounds like trickle up economics to me.

You know England had a good idea...

When they imposed that outrageous rich tax, all the flakes like Lennon and Elton, left the country?

I'M NOT BASHING ON JOHN! either one!
