Clinton observed that a terror attack before the election, no matter how grotesquely mismanaged, would help Republican electoral chance.

And people get in a huff about that comment?

Have they forgotten the convenient, inexplicable terror warning level increases coinciding with all major Democratic events in 2004?

You should see the Republican blogs on My Space and others. They are really desperate attacking Hillary and Obama relentlessly. The reference to the Vietnam War withdrawal in comparison to an early Iraqi withdrawal of American troops really made Bush silly in the eyes of the world.
