Have any of you ladies tried Climatique? My wife saw the ad and expressed some interest. Anything that catches her eye obviously snags mine, but before I ordered it, I wanted to be more informed. Where better than Lit? :D

a. Does it work as well as described?

b. Does it have any negative side effects (e.g. rashes, burning, etc.)?

c. Should it be used sparingly (ie. every 3rd or 4th sexual experience) so as not to make the clit less sensitive?

d. Are there better alternatives?

Any information from you folks that have tried it or an alternative is welcome.

Claims to be a stimulating gel. Here's the official site: http://store.yahoo.com/climatique/index.html

Basically it's a gel which contains several ingredients that enhance sensitivity. The main one I can recognize is menthol. I remember reading here somewhere that some people recommend menthol creams for stimulation, but I also recall that it can be TOO much or burn. I was wondering if this had the right balance to make it just right.

Woooo...menthol. I'd be a little leery myself. And not knowing how it reacts with a woman's delciate chemistry at times, I'd be REAL leery! But if anyone out there has tried it, by all means... speak up!

Anyone?

I can't believe with this crowd that nobody has tried this.

LE, I agree about the menthol. I would think that could be bad. That's why I'm trying to get some feedback on it before deciding. The credentials suggest they may have mellowed it a bit to make it pleasant.

Again, any info someone can give on this is greatly appreciated.

I saw some similar stuff at the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist about it. He said it was like an irritant, when I mentioned that I had a problem with tiger balm, he told me to stay far away from it. I think Tiger balm has camphor and menthol in it.

If you do try it I would patch test it somewhere less sensitive

I'd say just about anywhere else is less sensitive on a woman's body!

The wife bought a similar product at a toy store. Small amount of menthol, not irritating. This stuff is supposed to be an immediate turn on for women, right? The instructions for use started with "Put a couple of drops on the forefinger and rub vigorously onto underside of clitoris." Hell, with those instructions chicken fat should work!

HaaaaHeeee.....

You have me laughing soooo hard. I have used something like this before (not this actual product). It was okay for me...didn't really stimulate me any more than normal. My hubby won't let me use it again, it irritated him soooo much, he had to take a cool shower and wash really good down there...and I thought he was really enjoying it...heeeheee. I wish they made a female viagra or something that would constantly make us horny.

Now that's a thought

Amfig, I'll have to suggest that to my wife as an alternative - "Here honey, let's try this chicken fat. No really, the folks on Lit say to give it a try!" Too funny. I agree with your summary though. If that's what you're supposed to do, then any "lube-like" substance should do just as well.

That's for your feedback too FF. Sounds like this may be just a lot of hoopla.

I once used a medicated lip balm on my partner. I rubbed it all over his cock and balls and then blew on it. He loved the sensation! When I slid it in and out of his ass the sparks flew...

Yeah, could start selling it on TV-"Schmaltz-it'll start her clucking."
