Classics

Yes

1969 Triumph Bonneyville Mortorcycle. I bought one new that year and my crazy teen years were a blast.
Very lucky to be alive as good sense was not too prevalent.
I also liked the 1957 Chevrolets, My dad had one of those but unfortunately I destroyed it. sigh.

That's it! You bitch !!!!
Why are you posting a picture of me without my permission !? Don't you ever learn ? I'm reporting your shit-stiring act to Lauerl !!! I demand that you remove the picture right now !!!!!!!!!

'73 Corvette Stingray, T-tops, Canary yellow, 4 on the floor, 350ci, arf, arf arrrf.

lol

'56 is two generations seperated from the '73, but thanks. I still have to work for the next few days unfortunately. And lots to do before I go away for a week, ish.

my old man drove a wolsley 1660 for most of my life

not a very fancy classic but still holds many memorys for me, such as sticking to the old red leather seats in the summer as children and seeing who got burnt first.

ahhhhhh! fondness

then it got stolen and trashed by vandels and was left burning in a field somewhere.

my old man was heartbroken

HA! This is the first time I laughed out loud today.

Thanks. I needed that.

OOh nice but I am so partical to my `57...my aunt had one. I got to take it to my Senior Night and Prom. Oh it was sooo cool. It was worth not getting drunk on those nights.

Not really into classic cars myself.....

BUT, one of the cool things about reading Clive Cussler's books is seeing the jacket photo of one of the classics from his personal collection and how he features them in his story.

They almost always save the day over the modern machinery.

I've always loved Volkswagens, in my driving career, I think I've had 11 of them. One was a 1960, with the large, soft sunroof. I wish I had that car back to restore.

My last was a 1970 Kombi, with the full camper regalia. I could take the engine out of that thing in half an hour--putting it back in was even quicker. That's sort of sad; that is, you can only get that proficient with lots of practice.

couldn't resist

This is something I crave...

A late 60's camero, complete custom, in red or black.

A Baracuda (not sure on the spelling)

---Your daily virginal input---

This is almost the one I saw from yesterday...

hehe, it's a '57, not a '56, not that I know what they are on a Gen 1, but trust me - they aren't the same beastie :p
