Who makes the grade?

Ward Cleaver?

Howard Cunnigham?

Pa Walton?

Grandpa Walton?

Archie Bunker?

Homer Simpson?

Happy Father's Day to all the lit dads.

I wish Homer was my dad..I hate the Camdens dad on that religious show ummm what the hell was it called oh well who cares:)

Bill Cosby was a great tv dad, wish mine acted more like him, less like Ming the Merciless, a bad tv dad (I think, Flash Gordon was a tv show right? :p)

Kel.

I liked Pa Walton. Grandpa smoked too much weed.

My favorite?

Fred Sanford. Hands down.

Fred McMurray on My Three Sons - cant remember his show name.

Allison

Yup. Mine too - His "show" name was Steve Douglas, if I remember. :D

William Frauley as "Bub?" the grandfather, was good, also. I preferred him over William Demerest, "Uncle Charlie" who replaced Frauley after his death. :)

LOL...you mean Howard?

Howard was the best...the dad from Wonder Years was the absolute WORST!

thanks!

I guess he doesn't rank in my top ten list? ;)

Now, let's talk about Archie Bunker!

I love the show and laugh like a fool.

Some scenes from my childhood stay with me when he shows a soft sice.

But, would a racist commie hater like Archie Bunker be able to make it in network tv now?
