With interrelated characters, that will write from their own point of view
and may use any character.. main charcter or subcharacter of any other writer
withn the story with permission from that writer, prior to post.

All writers agree not to violate the other writer by revealing knowledge that is expressed withint the ooc or private personal messages without writer's permission.

Lord Kaylas

His name was Lord Kaylas, barely five feet tall with flowing silver blonde hair reaching down to his waist. Stunning blue eyes and almost effeminate features would have assured a quick death had he not been of noble blood. Since he was of noble blood and was particularly well known for his quickness of blade and sharpness of tongue.
The reputation of Lord Kaylas preceded him everywhere he went. Murderer, spy, rapist, fopp. Much of it was true, he had no issues with killing a man, he would sell his own mother in a heartbeat and many of the men and women to have passed through his bed were not there of their own free will. He was a schemer, a dreamer and very ambitious.

I'm definitely interested in playing a female mage....my thoughts are of a studious
mage with a good friend, male or female in the guard and possibly...hmmm. A relative in some sort of noble position might make sense, I could work it in in some fashion, or hve her be related to one of the main player nobles. Drop me a pm and let me know if this suits the casting call and I'll keep an eye out for the story thread.

the story will revolve around this city that has become a cess pool.
It is the worst area of a mighty kingdom and finds itself an attackwave for invading army
The rest of the kingdom believes the loss is acceptable despite the city is a port.
The worshipped Gods of the City are many and some worshippers have forgotten much over the course of time.
The rich of the city are just a lesser shade of pale.

Strangely, it seems like you have only one male character so far. I was thinking of making my guard sergeant female, but given the current imbalance, I'll change that. Please let me know if this fits in with your plans.

Bio:

Name: Sergeant Kedar Ghalib

Race: Half-orc, half-elf (result of rape), non-magical

Height: 6'1"

Build: Stocky with muscle more than fat

Appearance: Tall, stocky, scared. He wears his scars with honor, seeing them as marks of the many fights he has won in the past. He likes to wear at least some armor, believing you can never be sure when you are safe or not. He tends to fight with mace and sword. Dark skinned, pointy eared and gnarl-toothed. His mixed ancestry is clear.

Personality: Kedar is not a stupid man - stupid men don't become sergeant. He is, however, quite capable of being brutal if inspired. Often seen as saturnine and withdrawn on a personal level, aggressive when he chooses, dedicated to his duty and a capable fighter, he is viewed as good sergeant but not someone who should rise higher. He knows of his parentage and blames his mother - if she had truly cared for herself she would have killed his father he reasons.

Description: Maracus grew up on the streets of Songeree. An orphan who never knew his parents, he's refined the craft of stealing from the merchants in the square as long as he can remember. He's blossomed into a tall youth whose face and charm often have him mistaken for a member of the nobility. Because of these talents he's become equal parts thief and con man. If he ever applied his craft he could become a rather wealthy criminal his love of drink, gambling and women keep him in perpetual poverty, however and he continues to make his home in the Funnels. He is always quick with a joke and seems not to have a serious bone in his body.

I am interested in playing the other thief:

Name: Tori

Appearance: An attractive woman, 5'10" and though a bit skinny in build has very toned muscles. She has short read hair, but a light complexion. She dresses in tight dark clothing that allow her to effectively sneak around.

Background: She grew up as a street urchin in a small city. When she was 12 she was walking into a store to steal some food from the local baker, and a tall dark man came into the store and killed everyone in there except her. Upon seeing Tori, he decided to take her as an apprentice, or at least teach her to survive.
She grew up, her teacher was killed, she became a thief and a drunk, and after making a few too many enemies in her home city she decided to leave. She has drifted to Songeree.

She is good at sneaking, lockpicking, fighting, and social engineering.


With your permission landiek I would love to bring her in.

Well, I've been asked to expand and write for the character of Og. So here's his bio

Ogbar "Oggie" Redhammer
6'7"
330lbs of densely packed muscle
light green skin
no hair

Bio: Ogbar was orphaned in one of the many skirmishes between humans and orcs and was left to fend for himself. He happened upon a cabin in the wild where a kind and benevolent old soldier lived and the old man took in the young Orc as a surrogate child. Ogbar was thus educated and reared as any human child. Upon the soldiers death Ogbar left the forests for the city-port of Songeree. He found it rather easy to find work as a hired bodyguard and has settled into a rather enjoyable life in the city. He still has a hard time trusting most humans, as most tend to look on him with fear, and he still holds them partly responsible for the deaths of his parents. He's developed an eye for human women however, and greatly enjoys educating them in the ways that human males are slightly inferior to their Orcish counterparts.

Well,I guess thats it form me for a while.For those of you who don't know I was recently recruited my some missionaries to work for them.They are willing to pay me a lot of money for just going down and praying with some people in Mexico and building a church.I leave this date(The eighteenth) and wont be back til Saturday the 26th.Sorry if this causing some Inconvenience,but I don't matter that much..so things should be able to go on smoothly without me.

Well,I am back.The water hasn't killed me yet and the food was amazing yet I craved american food on the way back.We built a church for a pastor in Poplote.It was amazing to be there helping this man becuase he is a Mexican American and could be an aweosme pastor and make a lot of money in the states yet he volunterily makes only 180 dollors a year down in mexico in what was once a crappy church preaching the word of god.Well we broke down the old church and built him a new one.The kids were amazing,we didn't speak the same langague yet they were so patient and kind to us.Living conditions were not the best since we were in the crappy part of mexico,we got in two car crashes becuase there is no rules on the mexican road.Whats sad is that down in the crappy parts of mexico,not the SPRING BREAK Mexico where full liters of beer are a dollar(hell yeah) since the road signs were jacked up for money,we measure distance in dead dogs on the side of the road becuase their is no humane society or any laws on dogs,there is nothing.I seriously felt killing them would be better than life becuase one dog I saw,he was half dead,all his skin ripped off and lipping but sicne there was no guns allowed in Mexico I could kill it.But what is legal in Mexico are knives and swords.I happened by an open air market in Rosirita after fighting my way through crowds that came down to get drinks for a dollor and some bang for their buck and I got so many weapons.I bought a katana made of glass for twenty dollors.I got a switchblade the size of my forearm for ten dollors and a real Italian Switchblade for 16 dollors.In the open air markets if your agressive you can ge the cheapest price,you just gotta swindle.I bought a bunch of illegal fireworks and got over the border and now I am here.

I hope everyone had fun posting on the thread while I was gone,I missed everyone but I guess some people didn't miss me enough to post while I was gone so my character is stuck.How do I always get in these situations.

I'll get to a post sometime tomorrow, I'm thinking that I let you dash off while considering my offer of alliance, meanwhile, I'd like to initiate contact with the character of Eris, under the guise of my character investigating who might have hired you. I figure that as Eris has a noble background, she would still have some cantacts within that realm of society.

I've been pretty sick this week, and even trying to come up with decent posts is difficult when you feel like crap.

Edited: never mind, I got a post out today....errr...I forget who is playing Eris, but would you want to embroil your character in that. You;ve got a thief contact in Maracus too, that gices you something to work with, using him and the npc Kellis as info sources. Anyone who wants to explore this angle, P me and we'll work on it.
