Ok. Here 's one for the guys. I am curious about the demographics of circumcision. It seems that most U.S. guys of the baby boom generation are circumcised because that was common practice in the States at that time, independent of religion.

My sister has 3 sons, The 2 oldest (born 1972 and 1975) are circumcised (These are not recent observations - Cut that out!!!)

The youngest (born 1983) is not circumcised because there was a change in attitudes about circumcision in the medical community,

So please indicate:

Circumcised yes or no
Year of birth
Country of birth
Any religions considerations

... and then any anecdotal information you care to share

never cicumsize a child. the foreskin is the most amazingthing when having sex or just being played with . the only thing to worry aboutis that you teach the child about hygene. it must be washed every day. but other than thanthe pluses completly outweigh the minuses

there's already a thread on this subject.... it's a pretty hot debate around here ;)

For me 1995, brothers 1953 and 1957 all circumcised. My oldest boy 1976 circumcised, my youngest two 1989 and 1992 uncircumsized because doctors would not do it unless for religious reasons. We wanted it done for conformity in the family etc plus we felt it looked cleaner.
