We were sitting out and talking with the neighbor, an elderly gentleman at dusk. This locust decided to start singing and really making it hard to talk. I could see it up in the tree, so I walked in and got my BB pistol. Walked out, quick aim and shot it down. It buzzed as it spiraled down. Shot through the middle. Much quieter. Got some disgusted looks from the SO, but the neighbor thought it was pretty funny.
