A little more clear on the FAQ/About pages...

Personally, I think this site has incredible potential. I've personally been mulling over a cyber/real meeting story, but only got a 'first part' done so far. As I'm having trouble continuing it, I could just say, "Hell, let's see how others would carry off with it..." :rolleyes: Of course, people could just waltz in an write some tripe material, post it and be happy their wanker prose is part of a story, while I sit there, scratching my head, wondering: "What the f*ck?"

To get to my point, could the FAQ or About pages be explained in a little greated detail? I didn't find any such information about exactly what control the thread-starting-author has over the story - just that others can append to is.

My personal questions:
* How does a thread-starting-author check a new submission? By e-mail, or does the thread-starting-author need to check in to CHYOO first?
* Can they delete posts they've approved but lead to future detremental posts?
* May an author delete a previously approved post with no follow ups (be they the thread-starting-author or the contributing author)?
* Attachments (i.e. picture, link to Lit story for character/story reference)? I realize you don't want any HTML code in the story, but maybe restriction to the original thread? Could help character profile suggestion I read [somewhere...])
* What would a thread-starting-author be called?
* Do thread-starting-authors have any power? (a blunt question, but may as well ask!)

Other than that, two little tidbits:
- In the FAQ/About pages, I had to highlight the text to read it. Maybe its because I use Netscape, but it would be nice to read the text without highlighting it :rolleyes: .
- The story "Population Crisis," while not implicitly so, offers the possibility of underage sex in the original thread:
'Pupils of the school: In order to increase our population, it is necessary that as many females as possible become pregnant. The girls at this school are between the ages of 15 and 18 and are thus deemed to be the most likely to carry through a successful pregnancy and birth. In order for you to become pregnant, you will need to have intercourse. The boys at this school will provide your mating partners.
Its not a bad story, as far as how one might expect contributions to be. But certiantly this is an isue. I know you posted the possibility of adding a 'warning form' of sorts for this stuff, but here's an early heads up. ;) I don't think the thread need be deleted, just edited.

Anyway, I've ramlbled long enough. Hope it all works out!

huh...

That 'Unregistered' post was by me (flawed_ethics, should it not come through again...). Maybe I took to long in composing it or something. Hopefully, like you guys wrote, my account was transfered over... :p
