Help!

Chyoo seems to have gone down with the Literotica Forum upgrade and not come back up. All I see is "Error Connecting."

Back up within a few hours.

As I suspected, it's back up now after a few hours. Probably another database hiccup or just being last in line after an upgrade.

Thanks to the site staff!

Hmmmm well like I mentioned before...Chyoo does not make money for its owners...which is a shame when you consider how many members are on this site. Perhaps we should suggest that Lit offer advertising space on it? I know that granted it would slow load times and such, but on the benefit...if Lit is making more money via the Chyoo site...they would be more tempted to update, advertise it, and so forth...giving us writers more of what we cry for. After all...we do in the end ask for a lot...new updates and so forth...those take time to code which equates to money spent on a site that currently does not make any money...any feedback?

Well, they were the ones who decided to leave the site in beta for... however many years its been.

Personally, I have no problem with advertising. Not sure that is the issue. If it was, I would expect them to have implemented that before anything else. After all, the site is up and running. Can't see that it would be difficult to add some adverts onto it, particularly if the technology already exists on Lit.

Advertisements aren't hard to add at all...in fact generally the company that wishes to put up the advertisement will give you all the coding for the advertisement...its just a matter of placing it.
