I've noticed that the few times I have been flogged/beat I have experienced something more than just reaching my subspace. After I come down from my headspace I noticed that I'm not in near as much pain as I was in before the beating.
I have fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis (which is wierd for a 24 year old) and so I am in constant pain. I wake in the mornings and the first thing I do is take vioxx then go back to bed until it has taken affect. My pain is bad enough that I will likely never be able to work a normal 9-5 job.
BUT... after being beat I notice a very significant change in my pain levels that has been lasting for at least a couple of days, with exception of the last time I was beat because I started to get sick after and my pain levels always go up when I am sick.
In fact, I have also noticed that the times I have craved being thrashed most is when I am in the most pain. Wierd?
So, is it the chemical connection? The thudding of the flogger and other implements used? Anyone have any clue as to what this could be?
