Christmas

This is the 3rd Christmas I've lost due to ill health, it's hard to be joyous when you're in so much pain, extra hard as Ron went into hospital just as I came out, I was left to cope alone and it feels like the care system has let you down.
There are friends on here that know what's going on in my life right now and how hard I'm struggling and who have done their best every day to keep my head above water.
Anyway this isn't a poor me tirade, just to let you know I find it hard to celebrate, when for me Christmas will be just another day to get through but I got Ron back yesterday and I won't be alone. So for that alone I do wish you all the very best.

Glad to hear Ron is back home with you. This can be a hard time of year for a lot of people, so all I can offer is good wishes for health, happiness in the small things, and an end to the pandemic when life may return to something akin to normality and health workers won't be so stretched that they can't offer the basic help so many need day to day.

Keep on Keeping on Annie. Good to hear Ron is back home but remember to lok after yourself too. The longest night of the year has past, vaccinations have started and maybe, just maybe, we are heading for better days. All the best for the New Year.
