Christmas Shopping

Still need to buy the bikes that Santa's bringing but that is all.

I don't have any presents purchased yet. Yikes.

Actually, that's OK. I still have 25+ shopping days left as I haven't flipped the calendar to December yet!

Sounds familiar, good ole Nitelight had to remind us.

Hanuka Harry says.....

that Christmas shopping would be better off if it was spread out throughout the year. How about buying gifts for loved ones because you want to rather than because you have to? Well, maybe I just don't get it. I thought the season was about peace on earth and good will towards men; but what do I know. I bet Jesuswould shit if he knew how folks celebrated his birthday.

I mean, I love all the decorations and stuff, but it must be tough navigating the mobbed stores and then getting the huge Visa bills in January.

So, what are you doing reading this when you should be out there making the cash registers ring? Get thee to the Malls!!

Already done!!
Thank God for that.

Oh yea what did you get me?

Im making candies for my coworkers!! I give gift certificates to my parents for resturants and I do believe i will give my best friend and her man the same thing!! I do need to pick up a few stocking stuffers for snickerdoodle though!!

Suggestion: avoid mob scenes by shopping during the week - in the morning/early afternoon - if at all possible! I just got home from work (as a cashier at a dep't store) and MAN it is insane!!! Ugh, I'm so happy to be home.

I have about 30% of my shopping completed. A very good percentage for me at this early date.

I took next Friday (Dec. 15th) off to get ALL of mine done in one day.........start at 8 and go until finished. I have bought a couple of small and insignificant gifts, but the others are going to be bought on the 15th.

Gosh, I wish I was done. I can't finish until the 20th, because I refuse to use credit cards. Hate those things, they are just too damn easy to use. So, I suppose I will be one of those last minute shoppers because payday does not fall until just before Xmas...Oh well, no point complaining, it's not going to get me anywhere is it?

I admire your sensability (sp?) about Credit Cards and appreciate that..........I get my last paycheck for the year on the 15th, so I can relate....

Just make sure and take a valium or two before doing last minute shopping as I have found it useful to combat line-rage at the stores and malls. :)

wow, I think I'm actually almost done... Have to pick up one last thing for mom on Monday, and I'm almost finished with the drawing of the '53 Ford Victoria I'm doing for him. Cool beans. :D
