I put the x in there to be cool.

I lost all my christmas mp3s and need to replace them. But *insert Dora Explorer Voice* I need YOUR HELP!
Will you help me compile a list of great Christmas classics and songs? Will you? Huh?

I already have Jingle Bells by Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson, Zat You Santa Claus by Louis Armstrong and Run Run Rudolph by Sheryl Crow...

Please add your Cool Yule tunes here!

Cheech and Chong's Santa and His Old Lady.

No collection is complete without it.

Oh - and Deck the Halls. So you can think about me every time they say boughs of Hollie!

No collection is complete without:

"Dominick the Donkey (The Italian Christmas Donkey)" by Lou Monte

and

"I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" by Gayla Peevey

Nice!

I think Frank Sinatra has a good version of that.

The Christmas Song ~ Nat King Cole

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ~ Bing Crosby

White Christmas ~ Dean Martin

Seasonal, not Christmas specific...

Baby, It's Cold Outside ~ Dean Martin

What Are You Doing New Year's Eve ~ Ella Fitzgerald

I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm ~ Billie Holiday

I admit, those are new ones to me.
But Christmastime in Tinseltown by Big Voodoo Daddy is worth a check.

I was only kidding. Those songs suck. I just wanted you to waste your time downloading them and enjoy that "What the fuck?!" moment when you heard them.

Hey, I have a pretty high tolerance for bad music.
Our office listens to one of those crappy "Music for your Workday" radio stations. Because you can never get too much Michael Bolton.

Knowing how you love country music, may I suggest:

If We Make It Through December
Merle Haggard

Mary Did You Know Kathy Mattea

Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer Gene Autry

Down here in Guatemala, we don't get a lot of country music.

I seem to remember a sucking country thread...I wanted you to have a complete collection. Now, I could have suggested a song by Wynona and Kenny Rogers, but I passed. That's even too much plastic country for me. ;)

Mele Kalikimaka ~ Bing Crosby
Happy Christmas (War is Over) ~ John Lennon
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree ~ Brenda Lee
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ~ Judy Garland
The Christmas Song ~ Mel Torme (love James Taylor's version too)
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year ~ Andy Williams
Johnny Mathis ~ Marshmallow World

plastic country!

Bwahaha!

How bout some of that real whiney stuff. Is there a George Strait song "My Baby Left Me on Christmas Eve (and Took my Dog)"?

How could anything with Ella Fitzgerald singing not be considered classic?

Slap some reindeer sleigh noises behind it, and you're done.
