The example I heard about was pretty mild, but depending on the power/status difference could be really uncomfortable...he was in a makeup chair next to a woman and said “how come I’m not in love with you” then said if she kept getting makeup put on he would fall in love.

So would need to hear more data to see if he harassed/way out of line or was a dinosaur flirting in the modern age. But for him to go early suggests something.

I think its more than just the #metoo accusation stuff. After the Nevada Caucus MSNBC started thinking about rehabilitating their anti-Bernie slanted coverage of the democratic primary, and Matthews was the sore thumb that was easy to push out along with the litigation worries over the accusations against Matthews.

Although their calculation about that's probably changed after South Carolina and Biden's return to frontrunner status.
