Seems like some Repubs will come to their senses when faced with near death.

unfortunately, this is true... when it hits them, or someone very close to them, then suddenly they get their epiphanies. shame they had to mock and abuse all those who didn't need a personal epiphany in order to understand it hurts so many people.

that other guy they've been showing in hospital: a restaurant/bar owner, trump-supporter, was holding big indoor gatherings for other trump-supporting morons. he got sick around the same time as trump. he's still in hospital and very very ill, doesn't know if he'll make it through or die. he's now madder than a slapped hornet about trump and trump's behaviour regarding covid.

Yes, this is a great point. He actually said on the today show that it was in part due to his excellent health care.

I wish these Repubs would get it...he has the best health care available... unlike the rest of us who go broke trying to afford crap or the millions who don't have it because it's too expensive.

It's why black, brown, native indigenous people die from covid at a rate 40% higher than everyone else.
