actually i wasn't nervous at all..but i never made it to the interview

1st i got lost..then people started hollering at me about my tire..i get out to look at it and the the thing was still holding air but split wide open with wires hanging out..omg, about 3 hours out coming into asheville the other day i hit some crap on the road and it had a real bad shimmy after that..it must be when i screwed my tire up..anyhow, i called my boss to be

...after laughing at me he told me to take a deep breath and relax he would be more then happy to reschedule the interview.

so my trucks sitting in the shop getting new tires and allingment and ..oh yeah, tom comes down to direct me into the place and was in a round about way treating me like a dumb blonde..i told him to stop or i'd punch him

well this rodney fellow seemed very eager to give it another go..i think i'll be hired so not nervous at all. hell, i was more nervous at the poetry reading.

anyhow, i'm going for the interview tomorrow.

Yep...middle of Virginia Beach, about the same time from the ocean as I am from the Norfolk line...and go off visiting other places every few months for little weekend gaming and/or scifi conventions...(mostly Williamsburg, Richmond, and Tyson's Corner...but went to Roanoke last spring)....<smile>

Not too far away... scifi conventions? Are you a trekkie?

I prolly used to be, but time and other interests have drawn me out to other corners of the genre. <g> Especially when it comes to literature. Never been much for reading about the Trek universe...content with watching the tv shows and movies, and playing the occasional game (both roleplaying and tactical things like Star Fleet Battles)...scifiwise I prefer Niven and Heinlein and McCaffrey. But prolly tend more towards fantasy than science fiction in the long run...

But could certainly be a Trekkie if need be...<smile>
