Just curious....

I was finaly doing some cleaning around here and I found my, probably, only lasting childhood stuffed animal. I'm not one for keeping stuff around but for some reason this thing has managed to endure the test of time.

Don't remember when I got him, or why I got him..but either way, some time in my early years i recieved a WRINKLES toy/animal/thing.

I have my baby quilt, my grandmother made it for me.

I have my monkey, one of my uncles bought it for me when i was a baby.

I have my pillows, they're at least 20 years old. My grandfather gave them to me.

I have a Teddy bear that my Grandma got me when I was first born. If I remember, I'll take a pic of it and post it here when my computer gets fixed.

When my son was born, I passed along all the good ones to him, including the first teddy bear ever given to me (practically at birth) which was handmade by my dad's cousin. I miss snuggling with it.

I still have my wubby somewhere. And a stuffed dog named Pedro with a million patches and barely any fur left.

I think up untill a year ago I still received additions to my collection of gorillas. I created a room in a jungle theme with the help of wall paper and fake veins. I plan on giving the collection to my child - whenever he/she arrives. Though I don't collect them now (not sure why) I just couldn't see myself parting with them.

Oldest stuffed animal type thing that I have is an eeyore I have had him forever ok so about 10 years...and he even made it through the fire...I don't have any pictures....he moved recently:p

I do have a collection of my old school things I got after my mom died including some amazing artwork I did for her in 1st grade..

Believe it or not I had a doll :D I never played with it though.... It even had a name ... to bad I don't have it now ...

I have it on good authority Eeyore is being well cared for...and a picture is even available:)

Most of mine are in a packing box. It's been moving with me for a long time. I don't unpack it, but I still have them. Hopefully nothing icky's going on inside the box that I don't know about.

That stuffed bear was the best fuck I have ever had.

I had all the Star Wars figures and most of the GI Joe series.
I also was crazy for Lego's.

The one thing I collected growing up was stuffed animals...I had upwards of two hundred or so at one time...maybe more but with moving a number of times and well growing up I now have a select few. Most are in totes in storage the rest now reside either all over my son's bed or in a pyramid in the corner of my daughter's room where she reads on my giant polar bear , buried among the animals. I'm a sentimental nut I can't seem to part most of my favorites...thank goodness I have two little ones I can share them with.
