I read about this on yahoo news several days ago. I have pondered it for days. I was belt spanked as a child, and I was promiscuous. I hand spanked my four children and two of them are a little promiscuous and two are not. My husband was whacked across the head alot by his Italian parents and he was not.
So our family seems to be split on this. One thing that might have made a difference with my kids is that they were all born at home and breast fed for at least two years. My husband and I were born in the 50s to knocked out mothers who we didn't meet for hours and given a bottle of formula.
