If you ever get the chance to come to Las Vegas...

Dale did the ceiling flowers in the Bellagio reception/lobby area. He has done exhibits here at the LV art museum. (I think Bellagio also has some of his work for sale) If I ever get the camera back, I will go shoot the ceiling for you...

I've stayed at the Bellagio a few times, and visit it every time I'm in Vegas. That sculpture is AMAZING, especially since it is accompanied by the intoxicating scent of flowers from the Botanical Gardens, as well as the various floral arrangements throughout the lobby. Completely immersive experience.

They change the gardens each season...

the whole hotel is just amazing but that sculpture is even more impressive than the picture...

If I hear about him coming back here for a show I will let you know...

turtle and i have a Chihuly date set to pour over his site together....it's the most incredible stuff i've seen in forever....and we're seeing all thanks to you.....thanks again....;)

That would be so cool. Let me know if you hear anything. I'm close, but it would be easier for me to get to Vegas than Tacoma...just because I have family near LV.

Dale Chihuly is an amazing artist! I've been in love with his work for a few years now, ever since I saw a special program on PBS about him and his art. They may have a video available to buy. If I win the lottery, I want one of his "Installations!"
 
Dale Chihuly's creations speak with such beauty! I'm at a loss for words! I'm fascinated with his work.

I love all his work, but I always come back to the chandaliers. They are my favorites...and if I win the lottery, I want one hanging over my dining room table. :D
