If you were as shocked as me that Eddie and Alex Van Halen have serious issues with Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar to not include them in their new Van Halen Guitar Hero thingy - no worries.
They're doing just fine with Chickenfoot.
I've just downloaded the entire album and holy shit - it's kinda like the Transformers movie when there was simply too much action to keep up with but in this aspect, there's way too much awesome good music to keep up with!
Sammy Hagar - vocals
Joe Satriani (yes! Satriani!) - guitar
Michael Anthony (snubbed longterm VH bassist) - bass
Chad Smith (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) - percussion, f that, DRUMS
This collaboration is BRILLIANT and mindblowing music is the reslut!
What IS with Eddie Van Halen to dismiss Michael Anthony the way he has just to put Wolfgang (his son but if you've read this far you already know) into the picture? Anthony was there from the start - isn't Guitar Hero something for kids to learn classic rock music and enjoy? Yeesh, Eddie can't get along with anyone it seems.
