I live on the south side...only a couple of miles out of downtown.

The joys of the city ...

although this evening it may seem counter-intuitive (unless you love that wonderful feel of dripping clothes as you struggle to find the apartment key) the night is the best time to discover Chicago ... I have lived in or around the city for many trips around the Sun and yet I still discover new places, new opportunies and, most interestingly, new people ... so welcome and may your trips of discovery be pleasing, provocative and productive

my tastes are a tad out of the mainstream but my opinions and suggestions are always honest (though perhaps not brilliant or insightful) and devoid of BS ... so, should you be so inclined reply or PM ... good folk in this good city are to be nurtured!

It is but only August ... You have at least four to six weeks before one is needed! Should you need assistance shopping ....


I suggest a co-worker or colleague ... I do offer terrific compliments on selections after the fact though
