One hint on booking flights ~ just using Expedia as an example ~ if you search today for a good price but don't book it, then look again tomorrow from the same computer, clear your cookies first! Sites such as Expedia track your cookies and know that you're looking for that "right price" but it will do nothing but go up. Clear your cookies and temp files each time and the price will amazingly go back down
