This is an informational thread, but only for generalities.

All reservations must be made with me via PM.

ALL CHICAGO ATTENDEES MUST PAY $25. DETAILS TO BE WORKED OUT SOON, BUT THIS WILL PAY FOR RENTING THE COSTUME PARTY ROOM FOR 4 HOURS, AND ALSO THE TWO EXTRA HOTEL ROOMS WE'VE RESERVED FOR 3 NIGHTS, STRICTLY FOR PARTYING REASONS.

The hotel rate for everyone is $79 - rate guaranteed for all 3 nights of the get-together. (And some people plan to arrive a day early - the rate is still guaranteed for 4 nights.)

Hotel Amenities:
*Located very close to O'Hare International Airport
*Has a 24-hour complimentary shuttle from airport to hotel to train station
*Has complimentary parking

Room Amenities: Check-in: 3pm, Check-out: noon
*Has complimentary high speed wireless internet access
*Has Sleep Number Beds, your choice of:
One king, Two doubles, or One king with a sofa sleeper
* 25" color television (plus pay per view movies)
* Coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea
* Electronic key card entrance
* Full length mirrors
* Hair dryer
* Independent climate control
* Iron/ironing board
* Adjoining rooms available
* Balcony
* Complimentary newspaper (Mon-Fri)
* Luggage storage available
* Radio/alarm clock
* Voicemail

Locally, there is easy access to grocery/liquor/restaurants/gas stations.

If you know you are planning to attend, and wish to make a reservation, please PM me with:

Your name
Choice of bed
Roommate request
Dates you plan to attend
Email address outside of Lit

I'll send you a booking number, you'll use that when you check in. If you have to cancel you must do so 72 hours before the event. (That's easily done, just call me or send me a PM).

If you wish to share a room with someone (ahem - I'm talking platonic roomies, here) and don't have a person in mind, please let me know. When another attendee in need of a roommate asks, I'll get both of you together. ;)

Chicago residents ... even if you're not staying at the hotel we still need to know if you'll be attending. The "cost per person" for the party rooms is based on the total number attending and we'd like to get a dollar amount set soon.

I was there last week and was convinced it'd be a good thing to attend :D

It's a beautiful city, although unless you stay for more than the Litogether you won't get time to see all of the sights. ;)

From what I saw... I'm certain to agree... my guide certainly made sure I got a glimpse of the beauty the city has.... now its a case of times & flights etc and of course.... yanno?? ;)

Well, the hotel has a shuttle from the airport, but there's also locals around if you arrive early or leave later.
