How advisable do you think it would be to use Magic on my new chrome dome?

Damn - I can't believe I said Cheyenner!!!

Edited to say:

Oh - I fixed it!

I didn't realize you were bald too!

Thanks for the info - I only did it a couple days ago (there's a thread with pics here somewhere). I made the mistake of using a razor after I used the shaver to get right down to the skin... but it irritated the skin - so I was wondering about alternatives...

You think I can get that stuff at CVS or do I have to buy it online?

You can get it at CVS, but you have to look in the ethnic section - Some have it totally separate, some have men's products together and women's products together.

The combo is definitely the WRONG way to go - the shaver irritates the skin to start with.

Me, I'm a Schick Xtreme kind of guy with Aveeno Sensitive Shave Gel every morning in the shower...Magic burns the shit out of me.

I think Storm uses a blade as well...

No Magic for that head. Let it just used to the air first, please.

And yes you can get magic at CVS.

I know marxist uses and electric razor.

But you and Storm use a straight edge? Maybe that's the way to go once my skin gets used to it.

Ezarc uses the Schick Xtreme with a sensative skin shave cream. I think it takes time for the skin to get used to it....

I believe Marxist users the shaver because he actually doesn't bring it all the way to the skin.

I used to use the Headblade, which was designed by a guy I know, but it uses Gillette twin blades and I prefer the triple.

I will tell you that if you are going to use a blade, the key is to just let it glide over your scalp. If you use fresh blades (I change every three days), you don't have to exert pressure, which cuts down razor burns significantly. And I have never nicked my pate!

No - he doesn't bring it all the way to the skin - but that look works for him. For me I think I would want it all the way to the skin.

Um... sorry, Dilly. I don't shave my head. In this case, I'll have to defer to the bald gentlemen on the board to give you advice. :rose:
