Didn't you read the story closely? It makes complete sense. It's 100% robotic to go along with his sparkling personality.sweetsubsarahh said:I know you're all just as shocked as I am.
Not only does Dick Cheney have a heart, but the surgeons were able to locate it.
Who knew?

I doubt anyone is praying for any such thing.
No matter how much I dislike, abhor, resent someone's politics, praying for physical misfortune is not one of my chosen responses.
Shame on you for making such an accusation.
Actually, this time he's right. There are thousands of posts on blogs from people "hoping" for death for any number of conservatives (including the ever-dangerous Tony Snowrgraham666 said:He can't help it, mat.
He believes that everyone is as cruel at their centre as he is.

I don't know if it is truly worse than the kind of bigotry shown on far far right sites, but it is the most public display of hate I've ever seen. Sites that are supposed to be quasi-mainstream feature graphic images of death or sick humor against the people currently in power (and are not removed by the moderators). Perhaps the next time there is democratic leadership, the hate and bile will be as bad or worse from the Right, but at the moment, the Left looks anything but the purveyors of goodwill they portray themselves as.
Don't misunderstand me, I don't imagine that it's unique, just that it's pretty rampant at the moment. I don't know if there's a way to prove who's worse, or if it even matters, but it is sad that sites which purport to be hosts to serious political dialogue allow this kind of bile. Appealing to the lowest common denominator shouldn't be what we strive for. Fighting incompetence and bad leadership works much better when it's done with class.rgraham666 said:That is not a behaviour unique to 'the left' though, S-Des.
I could, I'm sure, Google an equal number of 'right wing' blogs hoping that Nancy Pelosi, for example, gets a sudden case of high velocity lead poisoning.
Our friend's mistake is to believe that every one on 'the left' agrees with the mad bloggers.
I don't confuse you with our friend.

Cheney is kept alive by a cocktail of single-barrel scotch and stem cells harvested from the pre-born children of kidnapped single mothers from third world countries, who entered the U.S. illegally. (This is one of those jobs Americans won't do.) The women are kept in an underground storage facility beneath a Romanian prison operated by a rogue division of the CIA.
Any questions?
