I know exactly what you mean when you say you want it again.

I can't describe how we got to the chemistry that we shared, but I would say a lot of understanding, communication, honesty, trust, and maturity got us where we were. We truly enjoyed being in each others company. We talked of the future and things to come and shared many plans. No communication was barred.

I was in my later thirties and he was in his early thirties. It seemed like all the things I mentioned above were very important from the beginning. Nothing started before the other and things were great.

I've never had a relationship since, and I had it once, so I know it's attainable. I'm like you, TigerClaw… I had it once, I want it again.

Don't know if I can describe how it happened, only that it did. We are well aware of the gift we have in each other and give thanks daily for having found it together. It is a peace unlike any other, and a flame that burns through the darkest hour.
