Just as the subject says this is my cheesy new person post since I, just so happen to be, a new person! Fancy that? :p

I'm Kelly. The female version.
Am 27, soon to be that much closer to 30.
Professional in a computer related career - you know, because computers are going to help us take over the world.
Am technically bi-sexual though have been in a comitted relationship with the same woman for over 4 years.
Am not new to writing but new to sharing in a public forum and fairly new to erotica. Most of my writing is gen and just scenes or moments instead. So we'll see how I manage at this.

Anyway, HELLO! Shutting up now. :rose:

Woo, awesome to meet you. Sounds like you and I would get along. :)

Welcome Fellow Aussie

Hi Angel

I'm an aussie too ... we seem pretty rare on here.

32 male in Adelaide if you care to chat.

Take Care,

Another Recent Addition

Um... I'm also new to this whole game.

I'm 24. I've spent a lot more of my life thinking about sex than actually having it, although I'm doing a decent job of making up for lost time. This site intrigues me by the shear inventiveness of the authors. Its fascinating to discover the things that turn me on by surprise. It makes me think that their are facets of my personality that I would do well to explore.

As for myself:
I teach (if only my kids new what their teacher spent his free time doing).
I run around feeling like I'm maybe a little too uptight for my own good.
I congratulate myself for actually joining this site, because I think it's a step in the right direction.

So, yeah. There you go.

In my own defense, it would be a lot easier to loosen up if I wasn't constantly reading shit like this:

"Timothy McVeigh, a highly decorate member of the US Navy, was forced to resign from the military after he was outed by AOL. Someone from the Navy read an email from McVeigh, was disturbed by the screen name (handle), and called AOL to find out his identity..."

This is from a book I'm reading right now about privacy in the modern technological world called Privacy Lost.

Sexual deviation and teaching... probably not what most parents want to hear about.

That's just aggravating. I work for a VERY conservative company and have been pretty much told to keep my relationship under wraps. That's pretty tough when I'm not ashamed of who I'm with and she's a major part of my life. But I do what I can because I'd like to keep my job. I just hope things get better.

Welcome to the boards Tali and Pulp.

If it makes you feel any better we are slowly making progress. I am "out" in Alberta, a fairly conservative part of Canada and have yet to be blasted. I am sure the day will come but so far so good!

Then I think back to 24 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was unmarried at the time, and in order to finish my diploma I had to do a practicum. But the practicum people would only let me work there (at a residential camp for kids with disabilities) if I said I was married. Had to make up a whole life.

So, while it is hard to be patient we are making some progress. :)

In fact just the other day while researching a potential trip to Australia, I kept coming across Gay and Lesbian travel info for Aus. and various festivals. When I lived there in the 70's being a "pooftah" was pretty much a guarentee of getting beat up (from what I recall anyways).

I'm just glad to see things going in the right direction even if sometimes in the US it feels like we're constantly taking steps back 10+ years every week. I've never been ashamed of who I am and what I believe and I certainly don't want to feel like I should be. I just hope that things keep moving in a positive direction even if it takes a while. A single step is sometimes all it takes to keep you going.
