So I thought things wer going good tell she stopped messaging me all out of the blue. Wouldn't return no messages or calls. Then finnaly after a week she comes outa the blue saying her life took a nose dve to the shifted and couldn't be in a relationship with me anymore. So being the gentleman I tell her I'm here to talk with if Uwant and good luck with ur future...

Only to find tht she had posted a brand new POF professional looking for a LTR! I can take some one telling mewe dnt work or something but shit doing tht is just plan cheesey..

I had someone break an engagement over text. Swear it was just that she realized she wasn't ready for a relationship, it just wasn't the right time in our lives, etc.

Then, nine days later, I found out she'd been "officially"--who the fuck says that, outside of a teenager?--someone else's girlfriend for two days and seeing him for at least two weeks.

Then, over Facebook, I found out she had been asking guys to come over and fuck since at least December. And that she had been talking to these guys our entire relationship. (A foot fetishist musician messaged my business page to inform me she tried and failed to fuck him--three different fucking times--claimed she was a just a little too crazy to fuck, and then asked me to mail him her shoes and share whatever photos of a sexual nature she had given me.)

So, yeah, auspicious start to the year.

I think it is always best to tell the truth and be honest. This most definitely applies to fucking someone else. Do it before you become the liar. You test drive a car... It is not the dumping that hurts it's the lies. Once a liar ALWAYS a liar.

I would prefer it be done face to face and honestly.

But a bad breakup can be a boon by underlining that the "loss" of the relationship is, in fact, a good thing. It underscores their discourtesy and reveals they were probably discourteous in other ways during the relationship, such as through lying or cheating.

Several years ago I was in an accident and had a pretty severe neck injury and I was going to physical therapy to help it heal , this one appointment was on my birthday and the "woman" I was dating at the time asked me to stop by her house after my appointment she gave me a birthday card and then proceeded to tell me that she didn't want to be in a relationship with me anymore because she felt I would never get better , talk about kicking someone when they're down .
I hurt me at the time but I soon realized if she was that insensitive I was better off without her in my life , I see her daughter from time to time and go figure she's still single and available , lol

What an awful thing to do, even IF she genuinely felt that you can't turn round and say that. Could have invented a million and one more tactful reasons. And took the time to give you a birthday card? That's a whole lot of crazy! You sir, dodged a mighty lethal bullet.

I broke up with someone on Yahoo! Messenger once.

I still feel like a jerk about it, but it was a long distance thing. We had spent a lot of time together, but he just wasn't motivated. The "can't keep a job" type and every time he quit or was fired it was someone else's fault.

We were chatting about an upcoming visit. We weren't that far apart, so we saw each other a couple of times a month. I just couldn't bear to spend one more weekend with him. Sex, however? Incredible!
