Well I’ve been a member of this community for 14 months and have submitted 42 stories so far; even though I don’t normally get involved with the boards I thought you might find this interesting.

When I sit down to write a story usually with no particular idea in mind. I start typing and the story just writes itself. I suppose this might be a blessing or a curse, depending on how you look at it.

I recently wrote a small story about a white woman cheating on her husband with a black man. Nothing spectacular, and pretty mundane, (Big Black Ones) and the normal stuff.

I must have touched a nerve because the public comments are in an uproar!
It seems to me that some are outraged that the woman had the nerve to do this!

I’m a man and I would say that men cheat on their wives more than the other way around.
So why can’t the woman be the cheater? Or is it just the fact that she chose to do it with a black man.

I considered deleting the story but now I’m having fun reading the public comments.

One more thing, is it possible for someone on a vendetta to keep voitng 1's on your story? This story started out with 22 votes and a 4.80 average, then dropped when some folks got upset.

I wrote a story about a woman cheating on her husband with two black guys, and I've been bombarded with hate-feedback ever since.

I don't see why people would be so upset, considering that it was in "Loving Wives", where every other story is about women having a little romp with someone other than their husband.

I think it's the white woman/black man thing that stroke some people *coughracistscough* against the fur.

See it like this, jmt: If idiots insult you, it's actually a compliment. It would be a much greater insult if an idiot would give you a compliment.

I've been toying with the idea of posting ch. 2 in which she finds out he was cheating on her!

It's already finnished and I was going to trash it, but I might just put it up to see how that goes over?

I had a look at the story and the 11 public comments.

I don't think the comments were unusual. Some didn't like the story; some did.

From your post I expected more abuse - unless you have deleted it. I have had much more abusive feedback but not yet in the public comment area.

I think the responses come well within the normal distribution.

It is a shock the first time.

Many of us can produce very abusive feedback some of which seems to be nothing to do with the story, more about our personal characteristics.

The Ladies get inappropriate suggestions as well as abuse.

Read your story, and left a public comment. Then I went to your bio page, and saw one story after another with a big H of approval stamped on it. Right up until I came to your one, and only interracial story. Understand this first, you're a good writer, and you take care editing your work to perfection before submitting it, and that's a sign of your professional attitude with your work. Second, you will find than any Interracial story involving black men, and white women will take a big hit by the biggots who come here. It's just a fact of life. And the more realistic you make it, the more they believe it happened. And that's the only reward you'll ever get in this catagory.

I got one PC today from somebody who liked a story and gave it a 3 whch seemed rather strange. I'm not sure what you mean by inappropriate suggestions, Og. Sometimes I have gotten feedback emailed to me that said it was too bad we lived so far apart because she wanted me to eat her pussy or words to that effect. I would NEVER call that inappropriate because that is one of the things I am aiming for

Then the third chapter could be that the two black people meet and have an affair on the other two! Wouldnt that twist their minds!!
Take the comments from whom they are coming from, then let them slip off without any thought!

I usually refer to the lady or address her as "Flicka". So far she hasn't complained; I have been on her ignore list for other reasons.

I posted chapter 2 and it was a turn around of sorts. It got bombed by the two Siskel and Ebert clowns. The PC's are pretty funny!

I have to let you in on a little secret, your story about the girl in the coffee shop and the guy on leave from the military, was the first story I read here on lit. I read it and I was addicted from there on in.
