The idea is that wife is having an affair with a co-worker. The daughter guesses the her mother is having the affair, so the mother confides in her daughter and gets the daughter to help her hide it, by having the daughter to spend time with her father.
The father and daughter begin spending quality time together and have a good time together. The bonding leads to sex between the father and daughter. The father confides to his daughter that her mother is having an affair with a co-worker. The daughter doesn't break her mother's confidence nor tell the mother that her father knows about the affair.
The husband still loves his wife, the wife still loves the husband, and the daughter know that her parents still love each other and the daughter likes that.
The wife breaks off her affair with the co-worker, but the daughter doesn't want to give up the time with her father.
The mother doesn't know that the daughter is having sex with her father. The daughter threatens the mother, to tell her father about the affair if the mother get in the way of the daughter spending time with the father.
The daughter feels that she will no doubt loose the sexual relationship she has built with her father.
