cheating wife in car accident

Wife cheats with husband's friends brother. I believe the lover was a navy vet, they got caught in his car by the husband. Husband leaves and wife and lover try to go after him. They are in a car accident and lover dies, wife ends up in hospital.

I think the cheating may have taken place at a reunion, but can't say for sure.
