Looking for a story I read a couple of years ago. Early in the marriage the wife is cheating while traveling. Her excuse is “I’m not taking anything away from you,” since it’s only sex and only when traveling for work. She stops, they get counseling, fix the marriage.
Many years later her libido drops way down. He’s going to a bar to watch Sunday football, which she is happy about. He strikes up a friendship with Chris(tine). A couple of years later the wife finds out and loses her shit. His response is “I wasn’t taking anything away from you.”
At the end of the story she gets a bed plaque that says “Til death do us part”. He decides he needs to call his life insurance agent.
