Cheating Little Leaguers

this is so bad, it's funny!

It makes Guiliani (sp?) look like a bigger loser then alot already thought he was, for sticking up for him in the first place.

I guess his perfect game isn't so perfect anymore huh? What a slap in the face to the U.S., as much as the little kids on his team, and especially little league baseball. The U.S. looks like dopes to people outside, I'm guessing, for allowing this to happen, whether anyone knew about it or not.

Even though I grew up in a country where the national sport if futbol, I consider Baseball to be the GREATEST sport ever invented. Now the integrity is fading slowly, and it could take as long to fix this, as it did the last time the major league players went on strike 6 or 7 years ago.

How sad, Can you believe it........

Now in my area they are cracking down on Pop Warner football. What's next Bobby Sox Softball? Let the kids game stay pure. This can't be a good thing. Has winning become THAT important. It's a sad day for sports fans.

Side note. With College Football Starting..........

GO BIG GREEN!!!!!!................Oregon Ducks!!!!!!!

FIGHT ON U.S.C!!!!.................Southern Cal.!!!!!!!

Let the rivalries and games begin.

Go Pac-Ten!!!!!!!!!

Why? Ego. Delusions of grandeur.

It's a shame that this morally bankrupt man has allowed his ego and poor judgment to sully the tournament. It is also grossly unfair that the other children on the team will have to suffer the consequences of his actions. Their records were stripped and all their games forfeited.

I am surprised that he was allowed to field a team with a previous history of similar conduct. Shame on the 14 year old as well - that's old enough to know the difference between right and wrong - no matter if the man is his father or not. There is no denying this kid's talent and future prospects in the game, but how can he take satisfaction in knowing he broke the rules and dominated kids several years younger?

Is that really such an accomplishment? Sad.

whats the big deal

who cares they did win the series.besides his father may have made him do it.did you think of that.

there are WAY too many kids living out their parents sports fantasies these days. Meaning that the parent, mother OR father, wasn't good enough, so they TRY to make their kids the best there ever was, or at least better than they were.

It sickens me to see this happen in real life, a father YELLING at his son, because of a mistake. They're KIDS, it's time to learn, and yelling at them doesn't teach them how to be a better player.

There's too much money being thrown around in pro sports in general these days, adn kids are actually being bred to become one thing, a pro athelete, so the families can live off what the kids will eventually make. Sad but true. I could go on & on, but that's enough ranting for this thread.

OK, we'll try this again slow.

There is no doubt that his father is culpapble - I think everyone is in agreement there. In fact, most of the outrage is directed at an adult society that would manifest this.

As to whether or not they won, winning at all costs bears its own burdens.

true

why should it matter as long as they have fun.that is the point of it right.
