Hello I am unable to login to chat. I think my account is banned. I don't know why as when I was logged off I actually did not even start chatting. Just discussing role play scene. Is there any way to request to unban and review it once. Also I write stories and 9 stories are published on Lit. Can you help please.

The Chat moderators appear to ban with a frequency completely different than the forums. It’s fascinating to see how many folks post in the forum IrisAlthea linked above inquiring if they’ve been banned. My guess is that they found your role play topic offensive or they think you’re a previously banned user returning under a different name and they dropped the ban hammer. They also seem to ban people for advertising their Literotica stories, which is advertising of which I’m 100% sure that the site owners approve.
I don’t think a chat ban will affect your ability to publish stories, but if it does, please reach out to Laurel via PM. The chat moderators do not appear to reverse bans, so you may need to hang out here in the forums.

"When we ban someone from chat we ban the person...and if that person has a bunch of accounts connected to them we will ban them as well. You are banned....not just that single name."
maybe the abundance of "why did they ban me" protests are coming from the same IP address
I remember uncledribblydrybits was a rash that kept reoccurring
I note the chat mod(s) kept saying "check your PMs for reasons why" and not one of the protestors brought the PM into the public view.
My vote is for the chat mods on this one.

To my knowledge, Chat mods don’t read this forum. You need to post in the Lit Chat Support Forum found towards the bottom of the forums list.
