Chat Login Problems

I've been having problems logging into the Live Chat for awhile now. I will admit that at one point I had two different logins, depending on my mood for chatting, but I never logged in with both of them at the same time. After awhile though I couldn't log in with either. I don't know if I was blocked for some reason or not. I never received any notice that there was a problem, I just all of a sudden couldn't log into the Live Chat.

After that went on for awhile, not being able to log in with either username, I finally created a new username so I could chat. Now, after some time, I can't log in with that username either. Since using that new username I have not tried logging in with either of other older usernames, so there shouldn't have been any multiple user login issue.

I've been trying for days to log in now and still can't though. Maybe I'm being blocked by my IP address but I'd think I'd receive some notice of that happening and the reason why. I don't think it's that though because when I created the newest username I had no problem logging in, even though I was on the same IP.

I did send an email and clicked the SpamArrest link but I've not heard anything back since then.

Been having similar problems since the beginning of the week
 
This has been going on for months for me. Sometimes after awhile I can log in again but it takes awhile.
 
Can't Log In

Everytime I try & log in I get the Authentication Failed error message - regardless if it is a new user name or the one I have used for some time.
 
Same here. So do you use multiple nicks too? If so do you only do that because your old username stopped working?
 
Tried a new user name since my regular one suddenly stopped working - otherwise I would have stayed with my regular one.

Same issue regardless.
 
Well I've verified that it doesn't seem to be an IP Banning issue. I used my phone as a HotSpot and connected but still could not log in here. That would have made more sense since I can't log in with any of the usernames I have on here. Alas that doesn't seem to be the case, I still couldn't log in on a different network with a different IP.

So my usernames seem to be banned for no reason. If someone had reported me for abuse, which seems unlikely unless they are just being a jerk, I'd think I'd have received some sort of notice.

There is nothing on the chat page, https://www.literotica.com/chat/ that says you have to have a certain number of posts. Plus, when I was locked out originally I created a new username and could log into chat without posting anything.

Part of that page implies that you have to "Sign Up" for chat but if you read everything it says it's integrated with the main Literotica site, so if you have and account you should be able to chat.

I hadn't tried it before but I logged in with Chrome, which has Flash built in, and then tried to log into the "old Lit Flash Chat". I never tried before because it says it will be retired soon. I still had no luck. It got stuck at the "Initialization..." stage, not giving me any error message.
 
chat room access

for some reason i cannot access any of the chat room, i cant even contact an admin to try and sort the prob, and ive been a member for years
 
having a problem here, too — for a couple months.

did the chat change somehow?

I'm using Firefox.
 
Hello,
For months, I could not enter chat, as when I try to enter chat, authentication failed message comes. When log in is tried, same message comes.

Please help.

I've been getting the "authentication error" message for months—started out of the blue.

is there anyone on the back end of lit who can help us out, here?
 
I have two logins too depending on the mood I feel....one is working great and the other has the Authentication error. I suppose I could make another login and try that...unless anyone else has an Idea
 
and I just discovered a new problem, this: You can't join room "literotica lobby": Too many occupants. apparently, there's a capacity limit :(
 
Yeah....there is a 200 chatter limit in all the rooms, it should let you in if the lobby is full....it just makes you immediately choose a different room.
