This story happened many many years before.A wealthy merchant married a girl and lived with her happily.Later he met a dancing girl in a function and fall in love with her too and stayed in her house.He lived with her there and they had a daughter.After some time, there arose some confusions between them. The result was he left her and came back to his wife.In the mean time all his wealth decreased and the merchant became poor. In order to earn money through business the merchant needed money for capital investment. His wife handed him over her jewels and asked him to sell it . The merchant contacted a jeweller and had talks with him for selling the jewells.
The jeweller informed the king that the jewells missed by the queen was with the merchant. The king ordered to kill the thief and get the jewells. Accordingly the soldiers killed the merchant and handed over the jewells to the king. On hearing the killing of the merchant, his wife appealed to the king that his husband was innocent and she proved it to the king. The king & queen, on realising the fact, both commit sucide for the mistake on their part. Then the wife of the merchant cursed the whole city of the King to get destroyed and went to the adjoining hills from where she was taken to the heaven in a chariot from heaven.People worshiped her as a goddess for her chastity.
