I do feel guilty about that. It was an impetuous act in the heat of the moment and I have promised myself to avoid repeating this error of judgement in the future. In retrospect it is kind of a written form of flashing or sending anyone unsolicited naked pics both of which are beneath my own moral standards let alone public morals. That was part of what I touched on in a subsequent post after the fact. You are absolutely correct in your condemnation. What is done is done though and the best I can do is be more considerate in future. In the meantime it seems I have created a minor tsunami of chat about it amongst a fair number of people in my social sphere. Nothing direct to me but a couple of my closer female friends have passed on some of it to me. As yet no obvious condemnation of the affront but like I said your point is taken and not unappreciated.

I'm a big advocate of that— that is, I mean, not exposing others unwittingly to your own kinks, for your own gratification. As a consequence, many exhibitionistic situations that others get off on, I find very problematic.

This situation, I see as different, and ingeniously so: although the original sending was not the error it purported to be, it was followed up immediately with a "I'm sorry, sent erroneously, please delete and do not read" message. The recipient could, and properly speaking should have done exactly that. She chose instead not only to read it, but to then pass it around and gossip about it. The onus is on her.

Not that I condemn her in any way for doing so. After all that e-mail revealed that being exposed in this way was something the sender got off on. Knowing this, she made herself a willing participant. No harm done, so far as I can see.

I told my girlfriend about this little escapade. She is well aware of my SPH fetish and has no problem aiding and abetting it. She has suggested that she send an e mail to a couple of her closer female friends and her older sister.
