'Charlie's Angel' Farrah Fawcett dies at 62

Me.

I was hot for Kate Jackson.

I had 5 sisters who looked like Farah, so I wasnt impressed.

Farrah may now be gone after a long fight with Cancer but she will not be forgotten. What teenage boy didn't have her poster back in the 70'S.

I know my brother had one, right on the door of his room. I remember, too, when it was pointed out that if you looked at her hair long enough, you could see the word SEX spelled out in the curls.

I don't think my brother ever looked at her hair though.

It's sad that she's gone, but at least she's no longer suffering. R.I.P. dear lady.

It's funny, When Charly's Angels was on, Kate jackson was my fave. And later on, Cheryl Ladd and Tanya Roberts. But all through my Jr and Sr years of High school I had the "Life Size" poster of her in a blue spandex cat suit on a bicycle on my bedroom door. I bought every issue of Playboy she ever appeared in.

I'd be willing to bet Farrah inspired wet dreams in near half the men in America over 40.

She was still a knockout at 50 and when I saw her on Letterman a few years ago she still looked fantastic.

Cancer really took it's toll on her. I'm sad that she's gone, yet glad that cancer can steal no more of her beauty.

Sad when my teenage fantsy is gone. :(
Of course, she's only 10 years older than me

She put up an admirable fight. :rose:

Not only teenagers. I was in my Thirties then, and I had the hots for her too. In all honesty, I have to say that I thought the most beautiful of the Angels was one whose name I don't remember, but she was the taller of the two brunettes. All three of the characters seemed pretty clueless and that brunette seemed the most so, but, a woman as beautiful as each of them was, doesn't need a lot of clues.

In all honesty, Farrah was more than just beautiful. I remember her in a very unglamorous role in a TV movie called, I believe, "The Burning Bed," in which she played an abused wife and mother who lit on fire the bed her drunken husband was sleeping in.

I am very sorry that she died. This is a great shame and sadness.

Yeah, I thought she was suh-mokin', too! :)

Ye gods, she was beautiful! That mane of blonde hair, that dazzling smile, a killer body and she could act as well.

RIP Farrah. You fought the good fight, lady. :rose:

I always looked at her and thought "gorgeous woman, if it wasn't for that weird hair". Must be a generational thing.

Supposedly, in her famous poster her hair swirled and spelled "sex", sending a subliminal message to millions of teen boys upon whom it was pretty much wasted, being they were teen boys and all.
