Ah, you are in for a treat! Charleston, regardless of the time of year is a treat. If you’ve never been before you are encouraged to explore the historic past of the city. One of the oldest cities in the US, you have colonial American homes, forts and museums if that peaks your interests. In the alternative, there is a bevy of restaurants, bistros and bars that will undoubtedly pique your interest and desire for food and spirits. Finally, SC doesn’t get particularly cold in the winter, so there may be some days that are ideal for sailing and the city, especially near the holidays are alive with various events.
