Chapter published in the wrong series.

Hi,

I have an ongoing series where I just published part four. The problem is that I made some kind of error at the start, so there are two series with the same name under my profile.

The first three chapters were published under the same series umbrella, but chapter 4 was published in the previously unused one. So now I have one series with chapter 1-3 and one separate with just chapter 4. Is it possible to merge them somehow?

It's straightforward. In the Author Control Panel, switch Series to Series Beta. That lets you manually tell the system what series to put a story in.

Note that there is a delay, often a long delay, in processing series-related requests. Top priority for Literotica seems to be getting new stories out. Edits, series changes, etc. are always done more slowly.

Change both series to Manual Control. Move chapter 4 out of the 'wrong' series. Then you should be able to add to the 'right' one. Don't forget to delete the first. You should be able to do all of this yourself.

Top priority for Literotica seems to be getting new stories out.

Well, my story edit has been pending for 29 days, and I have had a new story published since then. But with three new stories that have been pending for only 4, 6, and 15 days, respectively, it doesn't feel very 'top'. Five more stories ready and waiting.
