changing category after publishing

Hi,,,Is is possible to change the category of a story after the story is already published. How do you do that? Hope I am in the right forum for this question. Thanks for any help.

Where it tells you to add a notation such as *EDIT* to the title, if you have enough room, use *CATEGORY EDIT* instead. Likewise, in the "Moderator Notes" section, say that you're only changing the category, and none of the story text.

Edits to title, description, tags, and category are a lot easier for Laurel to process than anything that changes the story text, so announcing that yours is a quickly processed edit surely can't hurt.

Oops I sent the edit version in before I read your post. I didn't put CATEGORY EDIT in the title, just EDIT", but I believe I did in the Moderator Notes...Hopefully it won't cause too much hassle for Laurel!

No worries. My suggestion was just something that could possibly speed up processing. It won't cause any issues with processing once she gets around to it. Be prepared for a long wait, because edits are processed in batches whenever Laurel has time. A month or more isn't uncommon.
