Changes after an upgrade

I've recently upgraded my system from Window 7 to 10. Lit does still recognize me... my screenname is visible in the upper right corner of the screen and I've clicked on the "Remember me" box but since the upgrade Lit doesn't indicate which threads have new posts since my last visit and it therefore(?) doesn't allow me to go to the most recent posts.

I've gone to the User CP and don't see anything that gives me an option to have that happen so... have I missed something?
