Yes. I did it once. Send a PM to Laurel and tell her your current user name and the new user name you want to use. Make sure the new name is not in use. She may ask some questions before she does it for you.

I know that this is one route to do this. From what I’ve seen, Laurel is much more likely to accommodate a name change request from a user who’s been here a while and has lots of posts. That’s forum-side, at least. Since you have stories, she may see that differently and be game to change it. Send her a PM with a detailed request. If that doesn’t work out, then the only option is to start a new account.
