How do I change my email on the story site of literotica.com
Every time I go into options/my options and change my email address it reverts back to my old address and won’t let me verify.
 
Lots of software glitches

There seem to be lots of software glitches on Literotica these days. I have to keep logging in over and over. Also, if I send someone a PM I get a messages that says I am not logged in and then my message has vanished. It is possible that the covid-19 virus has mutated into a computer virus. :eek:

This is not a new glitch. I had the same issue 5-6 years ago. I tried to change my email back then and was unable too. Eventually, I gave up and created this account with my new email and had Laurel delete my old one.
 
Surely this problem can be fixed or a moderator can change my email address.
 
I would have thought that a mod would answer a private message or at least respond in the forum on how to fix this problem.

There are two people who run this site. Manu does the Tech and Laurel approves stories and sometimes answers questions.

I have sent Laurel PM's. Sometimes I get an answer same day, other times no response. If you're on twitter try to send a message to @literotica.

Until such time as the problem of changing your email address is solved, which may be sometime never, why don’t you change the settings in the existing address to forward all emails to your new address.

If I could change my setting to forward my mail, I wouldn’t need to change my email address.
I’ve lost, forgotten or my password has been changed and there is no way to recover or create a new password in my original email.

This I can’t understand. With all email services there’s a recovery process for when you’ve forgotten or want to change your password. After entering your email address you’ll see “forgot password” and it will take you through the process of changing your password so you’ve got access to the account again.

That’s a great idea, but I don’t have a recovery code, due to a harddrive failure and there is no way to recover or reset my password without a recovery code. I’m using tutanota.com.

Not always true. I had a Gmail account I only used on a computer. I went to log in on a new device but forgot the password. I never set up a recovery email or put in my phone number. I couldn't answer the questions so I can't access that account anymore.

It happens.
 
Same problem - the email I signed up with 15 (!) odd years ago is from an account that's long dead, sadly.

When I posted a new story I asked in advanced options note to admin for my email to be changed and it was.
