She had come to Hollywood to become an actress. And like 99% of those that came seeking fame in Neverland, Anna didn't find it. But something else found her. And now, stuck in a studio apartment in East Hollywood where she would often bring her job home with her...

It was early morning as Anna got home. Her entire body was sore from the night's previous events. Even though she only had two customers, one of them was extremely demanded and for the money he paid, who was she to refuse?

Although before coming home, she stopped and picked up some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Walking into the complex she saw 'him' also getting home. She only knew his name as Max but for some reason, he didn't look like a Max. He looked more like a Matthew or James...not Max.

Anna had a suspicion he was a cop. He carried himself like her dad used to...although that didn't mean anything, he could just be another guy out there trying to make a living. Once in a while they would say hi, but that was it. But it never failed, Anna would always have a smile for him.

Max Goodman used to be a cop.

Okay, technically he still was a cop. Technically. But when you're this far undercover, "investigating" the Los Angeles criminal activity really meant that you are actually one of the bad guys.

And Max Goodman was enjoying himself. More than he should have been. But he really no longer cared. He had seen for himself just how corrupt the government was. He was planning on enjoying this life for a while, before eventually cashing in on it all.

It all boiled down to the drugs and the women. He was neck-deep in it, supplying several dealers with quality product. But he also knew that the drug money and the hooker money was all connected. It was time for him to move in on some of that action.

The hooker across the hall... what was her name again? Anna. Nice-lookin' girl. And she smiled for him.

He locked his eyes with hers in the hallway. He smirked. She had never told him she was a hooker, of course. But he knew. He'd seen her on the street, after all, driving by, and his associates had made it clear just what she had to offer.

"How much?" he said, looking her up and down. There was a clear look of lust in his eyes. He wanted to test her.

Anna was taken back at what he said. She had to stop and look at him as she pressed herself against the outside wall next to her apartment door.

He was tall and he loomed over her as she looked up at him, "W-w-what?" She tried to fiend innocence but knew it didn't work. "What do you mean, how much?"

"That's sort of rude..." she said as she grabbed her purse and tried to fish for her door keys after turning her back on him.

Max snorted, and chuckled, watching her firm round ass. He had to have that.

"What's an hour of your time worth, sweetheart? Hundred bucks?" he asked, a bit of a snicker in his voice.

"I'll give ya two. Hundred." He didn't approach her yet. He just watched as she fumbled for her keys. He was curious about her. He wanted to see how she squirmed when she took it up the ass. He needed to know if she could sell it.

Because he was fixing to sell her, repeatedly, if she was as good as he hoped. His eyes went bright with possibilities. He knew of many city officials who had regular liasons with ladies of the night.

He sniffed. He'd been dipping into some of the supply of coke. It was damn good stuff.

Finally she found her keys and shook her head, "Seriously Max, I don't know what you're talking about..." she quickly opened the door to her room and tried to ignore what he had said. She didn't really know him and well, he seemed nice those other times she had seen him in passing.

He was asking how much. Was it that obvious on what she did?

Besides, Paulie wouldn't like it. He had always told her that any 'transactions' where to go through him. She was his property.

Stepping into her place, Anna quickly pushed the door closed but not shutting it, "I'll see you around, OK Max?"
