IC: Just having rolled into the busy city in his beat up Jeep 4x4 yesterday, Dag had managed to get a decent apartment today through an old contact. The last few weeks had been tough.. between him trying to keep one step ahead of the law from the frame job put upon him from his former employer and the constant moving around he was tired and needed a new start. His laundry had been piling up so he decided to find a 24-hr. laundromat downtown and head over there. It was about 2:30 in the morning and a slight rain had started on this warm, humid summer night as he pulled up in front of the laundromat in his Jeep. Getting out with a basket of clothes under one arm he ambled over to the door and walked in...

IC:

Liz had been in this town for a little over a week now. She got transfered here because of her job. They would always find the house, paying the cost to move, etc. She just hated moving every year or so.

She had was almost finished unpacking her things. Luckly she didn't have to work this week, the company had given her time to settle in. But she did have to return the start of the new week, which was fast coming.

Liz had some clothes to wash. She put all of her dirty clothes into a box, because she was unsure of where her hamper was. She put all of the clothes into her Ford Explore. She then went to the local 24 hour laundromat.

Just as she had left her house there was a light rain. Great she thought. Once at the laundromat there was one other person. She kept her change purse close to her. She walked inside and started to put her clothes into the washing machines.

Before the rain started to drench him, Dag quickly rushed into the laundromat noticing a bench seat to the left where he quickly sat down placing the laundry basket beside him. Taking a few breaths and scanning his surroundings quickly, he noticed two other people in there with him.. an old Chinese gentlemen running the place behind the counter towards the back and a very attractive woman sitting down on the other side behind the center row of washers staring back at him...

Now another person entered the place. He went to the left as soon as she went in. Next time she would have to come at an early time. This place was creeping her out. Liz was staring at the man, he was not the type she would usually assocate with. She then instered the coins into the machines and started them up.

Dag noticed this attractive woman staring over at him and offered her a smile before she turned away quickly starting to insert coins into a washer..

as he studied her features further, he wondered to himself what her story was as he lit up a Marlboro.. then picking up his clothes basket and putting it on top of a washer next to him.

he didn't know why but he found himself staring at her as she looked up again and caught his gaze.. there were now five people in the run-down place as the old fan in the corner whistled and hummed throughout the damp and humid room.

The one guy was stairing at her, but she could not help but glance his away every so often. She noticed that he smoked. She herself didn't smoke, but could care less if other people did.

Two more people had entered the place. Liz was really thinking about buying a washer and dyer for her home. She could afford it in a month's time easily. She quickly made sure her cell phone was when her pocket where she could get to it, if need be.

She was looking at the guy again. She did wish she would stop stairing at him. After all her mother did always tell her it was impolite to stare at people.

after their eyes locked again, Dag felt the first pangs of attraction to her and decided to go over and introduce himself.

closing the lid of the washer, he puts out his cigarette in an ash tray and heads over to talk to her.

the rain has been intensifying outside with the first sounds of thunder and flashes of lightning rolling across the distance..

Liz wished she could be in bed asleep right now. She always loved to sleep when it rained. She noticed that the guy she kept looking at was now crossing the room. It was making her feel a little uncomfortable. But at the same time an interest in him.

Once the man is close enough she exends her hand. "hi, I'm Liz."

Dag extends his hand out to Liz giving it a slight shake.. " Hey there Liz..I'm Dag...I was wondering if you needed some quarters for the washer...you looked like you were digging in your purse and the change machines over there are broken.." he says pointing to the broken down change machines near the back wall

"I brought plenty..here." he digs into his pocket and hands her a roll of quarters while quickly stealing a glance down at her breasts.

"Sounds like a storms' comin' huh?"

It's getting almost unbearably humid and damp in the laundromat now as both of them start to slightly sweat...

The man introduced himself as Dag. He had asked if she needed any quaters for he wash. But before she even had time to respond he hands her a roll of quaters. She had made sure she had enough for the wash.

She put the roll of quarters into her own pocket. So far this man didn't seem so bad. Actually he was rather nice. "Sure does sound like aa storm is coming. I wish I could get out of here before it gets really bad." Liz wipes a bead of sweat from her forehead.

She quickly checked her watch. It was now 5 til 3. She could not believe that she was in the laundromat at that time. She glanced around the room, looking for a drink machine, but none was to be found. "Is there some place close I could get a drink? And if so would you like one?"

"Is there some place close I could get a drink? And if so would you like one?"

"Well..yea..sure..umm..we can go to my place if you want..it's only about 2 blocks away.."

Dag told Liz explaining that there weren't very many places open around there at the time.

"...but shouldn't we wait for our clothes first..?" he joked as he looked into her eyes and smirked. This chick reminded him of a girl he used to date way back in high school but much prettier with a better body..he thought to himself as he walked over to the fan in the corner and pointed it at them..

"so are you new in town Liz?"

Liz was really sweating by now. His eyes were capavating. He was a really nice guy. He walked over to the fan and pointed it to them.
"so are you new in town Liz?"
"Yes I am. I have only been here for a week. My job transfered me."

"So I bet you're some type of model huh?" Dag replied smiling.. wiping another bead of sweat from his brow after he thought that his long glare over at Liz's soiled pink thong as she tried to quickly stuff them and a few oversized bras into the already overfilled machine went unnoticed.. As she turned her head to answer him, a bright white flash suddenly lighted up the skies followed by a thundering BOOM almost directly overhead the seedy laundromat.. literally shaking the walls as the lights inside flickered on and off..

Liz.. being terrified of electrical storms suddenly jumped into the strange mans powerful arms almost by reflex...

So I bet you're some type of model huh? "actual no I am not the model type. I work for a nation wide law firm. I got a promation, and moved out here."

Liz was changing my clothes over to the dyer. She didn't really want him to see my undergarments. Who really wants for some one else to see thier 32B bras. Expecailly a man they just meet.

Just then the power flickered off and on. Ever since Liz was a little girl she never liked electrical storms. She could not explain why. She jumped into Dag's arms almost instantly. Once she realized what happen she got out of his arms. "sorry about that" she said with her eyes down cast

"Nothing to be sorry about." Dag replied reluctantly letting Liz go as the lights flickered again.. She looked down slightly embarassed.

Dag lights up another Marlboro and offers Liz one though she declines it softly. "Hey listen, since our clothes probably won't be finished for at least 45 minutes we could go get that drink across the street there if you want." he tells her while pointing out the front window to a small all-night pool hall/bar with a tacky neon sign placed in the window. "...then maybe you can tell me all about that law firm of yours.."

Dag had offered to go to the all-night bar across the street. Liz agreed. The two walked across the street, and she ordered herself a beer. Her job was nothing special, she wasn't even a lawyer. She was a lawyer's assistant. But she liked doing it. As the two of them sat at a table, she said "well I am an assistant to a few lawyers.

The female bartender already knew Dag by name.. -The usual Dag?- "Yea the usual Claire and my friends beers are all on me.." Dag ordered his favorite Jack Daniels and turned to Liz again, gazing into her pretty brown eyes.

"So any friends and family here Liz?"

Dag had paid for the drinks. "So any friends and family here Liz?" "No I don't." She took a few sips of her beer. "so whats your story."

"So what's your story?"

Dag looked at her for another moment and even though he had only known Liz for an hour he had the gut feeling that he could tell this girl almost anything. His Jack Daniels drink came and Dag looked down into his drink taking a few sips before mumbling to her.."I..I had some trouble with the law in the last town that I did some work in.."

Just then, someone put some money in the old jukebox in the corner and on came an old slow song that was one of his high school faves.. Dag looked up at Liz.

"You wanna dance?"

Dag had began to open up alittle to her. As each minute went by she was more and more interested in this guy. When the song came on she could see a sprakle in his eye. So when he asked "You wanna dance?" Liz agreed. She loved to dance. She stood up, and Dag took her arm and lead her to the dance floor.

Dag never liked to show much emotion in life but when this girl accepted he broke out a small hint of a smile.. After taking her arm and leading her to the middle of the dimly lit room where there were two other couples dancing to the slow song, he intertwined his left hand with her right hand..his right arm slowly sliding around her waist...looking into her big brown eyes.

"Listen Elizabeth, I'm not gonna lie to you..ever.. I've been in jail before for someone elses' crime and I'm not goin' back again no matter what..so..if you want nothin' more to do with me now I can understand.."

"Listen Elizabeth, I'm not gonna lie to you..ever.. I've been in jail before for someone elses' crime and I'm not goin' back again no matter what..so..if you want nothin' more to do with me now I can understand.."

Liz could not believe how honest this guy was being with her. And that is one trait she really liked in a man. She sort of liked him and his bad boy attitude.

"don't worry about it as long as you are not still running from the law." The song ended and the two started to dance the next song.

"don't worry about it as long as you are not still running from the law."

Dag pulled the girl in a bit closer by her waist as she said that, lowering his head slightly to mumble..."naw, I'm not still runnin'..I'm on the up & up now and wanted to start with a clean slate in this town. The first good thing that's happened to me in months was runnin' into you at that laundromat.." Dag hated telling her that little white lie about the law not being after him, but he didn't want to lose this girl..there was something...something about her that he knew and liked..something..

Dag eased Liz in a little closer for the next song but was careful not to force her.. he hoped that the room was dark enough so she didn't notice the rather large tattoo on the back of his left shoulder..

"so do you have a boyfriend Liz?"

Dag and Liz got closer on the next song. She was relived that he was not running from the law. "so do you have a boyfriend Liz?" "No I don't we broke it off about a month ago. We just could not get along."

Dag smiled inwardly when she said that but tried not showing her any emotion.. He felt his cock start to get hard when Liz began pressing her firm breasts into his chest but luckily she didn't seem to notice he thought to himself as he checked his watch.. It was 3:55AM now and the rain had slowed to a light drizzle..

"Liz...Liz we'd better get back soon..it's been about an hour now.." Dag whispered into her ear...
