Alrighty then. Ladies and Gerbils, presenting the fifth challenge in the subset of beta challenges, derived from alpha set.

*First: The due date for the entries for this particular contest is April 30th, 2006 at 9pm pacific time. If you send me your entry at 9:01 or later you'd better be here giving me a blowjob if you want your entry put in with the others. :D

Reason: As with all good things it looks like we've hit our first plateau with entrants in these last couple of challenges. Everyone has lives to lead and priorities to stick to. So I think it'll be best for everyone to relax with this one and see how it goes.

*Second: This is an extra curricular challenge that you may or may not include with your submission. Solicit the poetry writers here at Lit and enter with your artwork one poem that ties in with your art from any one of the poets. A poem of your own creation is not allowed. It must come from any of the other poets here at Lit. Let your selected poet know the ingredient and get familiar with your art concept and let'em rip.

Reason: I know positively that we have a great many wonderful writers here and I've been waiting and hoping to see what their minds do with our artwork. The voters may or may not give a shit, but I believe it would be a wonderful addition to what we have going here.

*Third: All entries must be erotic.

Reason: This is Literotica. What else should it be?!

Now for the secret ingredient:

*Evil*

Cut loose everyone. Have fun. :rose:

Just so I understand this correctly, a poem is not required for this submission, and it must be an erotic piece involving evil in some form?

I might be interested in this one though I have no idea what I'd do at the moment.

The poem is NOT required. Its just extra kudos for getting others in the Lit community participating.

You have approximately two weeks to generate and submit an idea.

All Evil, baby! Yeah!http://www.faschingskostuem.com/pix/teeth/character/3000-austin-powers.jpg

Halo- you evil genious!

Good idea to get others to take a look at the art threads- glad we kept you around! lmao

Its actually more to promote an actual sense of being in the Lit community than anything else. I think the poetry department would be a great partner with the art department. And the ingredient for this one has such a massive variety of possibilities, well, anyone should be able to sink their teeth into it.

PS....PART of the "challenge" is to create the work within a limited time frame, correct?

On occasion I think we get submissions of previous work...which of course is interesting to see...but technically it's "cheating".

I'm in favor of seeing fresh work, but unless the contest specifically forbids it, I don't see a problem with submitting a fitting piece, even if it was done years ago.

sorry its lil ol silly me again can i clarify please people may or may not use a poem writen by another lit person as a dual entry if they so chose but they dont Have to they can just submit thier own piece of art ?
and it must be erotic and must be based on the word evil?
does it have to be of a specific format ie can it be photography or does it have to be "real" art?

Addressing several things ...

These contests were, in part, meant to be challenges to the artists. Part of that chellenge is in time, and being that the other artists have been producing new works specifically for these challenges, I would say that it is unfair to submit older works that happen to meet the criteria of the secret ingredient. Everyone should probably be on the same page in terms of the original challenge criteria.

However, if the person conducting a particular challenge wants to specify that older pieces are acceptable to enter, then that would be that person's prerogative. I can't see any good reason to do it, though.

The addition of poetry in this challenge is strictly the choice of the entrants. If the entrant decides to submit poetry relating to the artistic entry the poetry must have been created by one of the poets here at Literotica. Though I didn't specify it before, having the name (real or Lit name) of the poet should also be included.

The word Evil is the subject should you choose it to be used that way. Evil is to be an ingredient of finished piece somehow. That was another part of the challenges for the artists here; the ingredients could be anything, tangible or intangible.

All mediums are welcome. No limitations there.

Did I miss anything?

I Wanna I Wanna Be In!

This Is My Thing...Most Don't Know But I'm A Sucker Fer All That Is Horror:D

I Have Blood All Over My House, And Evil Intentions On My Mind;)

I have a tentative idea, but I have a feeling I'm not going to resolve this in time for the end of the contest. Which sucks, because this is the first theme that has really interested me since I started watching the contests.

I will see what I can doodle up for the this challenge. Habit has been that I wait till the last minute and draw something just to submit, perhaps I'll take a lil mo' time with this one. (Then again maybe not <ha ha >)

Well I imagine that the quality of the Poem could/would/will sway the voting. Not sure how one might address that.
Yup. I figure that if someone was to really put in the effort and get a poet to contrinute as well, it just might make for something interesting. These challenges are all about challenging the artists, after all. This little addition, albeit optional rather than mandatory, adds the element of having a piece worthy of the poem and a poem worthy of the piece.

I'll stand down on this one. Evil is "not my bag".

I picked this ingredient because it is phenominally diverse. It can be completely sublime, totally comical, perversely horrific, or absolutely epic, and anywhere in between any of those extremes. Its too bad you're going to ... opt ... out:rolleyes:. You were one of those that I thought could really have some fun with this one. :(

And I'm even giving two whole weeks for this one ...

I haven't thrown in the towel just yet. I'm working on something and there's a good chance I'll make your deadline.
